To rent a vehicle from Amber Car Rental, you must be at least 21 years old (25 for certain vehicle classes) and possess a valid, unexpired driving licence. You must also provide a valid credit card in your name for the rental and deposit.
Payment is taken in full at the time of booking. A security deposit will be held on your card when you collect the vehicle and released upon its safe return. The deposit amount varies by vehicle and will be shown clearly during checkout.
All rentals include a set number of miles per day. Overages are charged per mile at the rate specified on your agreement. Our vehicles may not be used for rideshare, delivery, towing (unless explicitly equipped and permitted), or off-road driving.
Vehicles must be returned with the same amount of fuel they had at pickup, unless you purchase a prepaid fuel option. You are responsible for all tolls, parking tickets, and traffic violations incurred during the rental period. We will pass on any administrative fees associated with processing these charges.
You can cancel for a full refund up to 48 hours before your trip begins. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable. If you fail to meet the rental requirements at pickup (e.g., no valid licence), it will be treated as a late cancellation.
